Review Summary: With two retail locations, Something Sexy Planet has certainly earned it’s expertise in the world of adult sex toys. The personality of the store is evident on the pages of the website, however it is obvious that the focus of the company is it’s retail stores first, and then it’s website. The site is simple, generally easy to navigate, and the variety of products available is surprisingly vast, given the modest number of total products. It is not lacking any of the essential ingredients of a good online sex toy store, and it provides some nice features, such as a customer service 800# and online customer service (although the hours are not posted on the website.) Overall, Something Sexy Planet provides the basics (in product and website options), and does so in a user-friendly format.

Review Summary: Jimmy Jane is a beautiful website, a beautiful store, with beautiful products. Because it is so high-end and exclusive, and is more of a “boutique” store, it is difficult to fit into our normal categories, and therefore the grade suffers. Do not take this to mean that anything about this website/store is poor, or even average. Quite the opposite is true. If you are looking for the ultimate luxury sex toy, look no further. And even with the above-average prices, the value of the product is apparent. Jimmy Jane’s products are as much works of art as they are sex toys, and their functionality is exceptional. With replaceable motors, environmentally-friendly materials, and most of the vibrators being dishwasher safe – they are an amazing blend of form and function. The limited edition vibrators utilize the talents of some talented artists, and the playful banter and sophisticated, uncluttered website layout all work together to create a unique experience, unmatched by any other in the industry. Which is why Jimmy Jane’s products have been featured in over 20 publications, from Women’s Health, Marie Claire, GQ, and Elle, in addition to media such as The Today Show and The Howard Stern Show.
